Speech therapy focuses on improving a child's communication skills including speech clarity, language understanding, expression, and social communication. At MindfulCDC, speech therapy is play-based and child-led. We focus on building intent to communicate rather than structured drill-based questioning.

    Our Play-Based Approach at MindfulCDC

We create an environment that motivates the child to initiate communication. Instead of repetitive WH-questions, we design situations that naturally encourage speech. Early intervention includes collaboration with Behaviour Therapy and Occupational Therapy to ensure holistic development.

    Age-Wise Intervention Model

For toddlers, focus is on joint attention, imitation, and pre-verbal communication. For preschoolers, we build expressive language and clarity. School-age children receive structured communication expansion and fluency shaping.
